Today was the day we got home after being gone for 11 days total. While it's always nice to be home, it's also sad because I really did enjoy our trip. At least I have this vlog series to look back on to remember it though. :)

Today was the first leg of the journey home. :( Sad that we had to leave, but I got some very pretty footage out of it. :) Hope you enjoy. Today was primarily a film showing day so I didn't get a whole lot of footage other than from one or two sessions. This breaks the record for the shortest vlog installment yet. xD Today the festival didn't start til 1 PM so we took a tour of the Alamo in the morning. :) No footage from the festival itself this time, but hopefully the Alamo will make up for it. Today was just another great day of going to classes, meeting people, and hearing fantastic teachings and lectures on not only the craft of filmmaking but also how God fits into it. Today was the first day that we were able to attend the festival. One day late, but better that than not at all. We got the full recording set of the whole week so I won't miss anything. :) This morning we also sent my mom and sister off to visit some friends up north. Today we finally got the car fixed and got down to San Antonio. Sadly, today was also the first day of the festival and we ended up missing it since we didn't get in until late, but things worked out in the end. Also, today was my sisters 16th birthday! Today we got stuck in Amarillo trying to diagnose car problems. With it being Sunday, no mechanics were open which put us in a fix. There was still 8 more hours to drive to get to San Antonio and the Guild started Monday... God took care of us at the end of the day though. Day 2! Today we continued on from New Mexico through Oklahoma and down to Amarillo, Texas while getting a few geocaches on the way and experiencing car trouble at night. This year our family had the privilege of attending the Christian Worldview Film Festival down in San Antonio Texas. My dad and I stayed for the guild during the first half of the week while my mom and my sister visited some friends, and then they rejoined us for the festival itself at the end of the week. I vlogged the whole thing! From driving, to our car breaking down, to being at the festival, this vlog series is quite interesting so stay tuned. |
