On YouTube when you create a stunning video or when you take an impressive photograph and post it online, some of the most frequent questions asked include:
  • What camera did you use?
  • What lens did you use?
  • What editing software do you use?
  • etc.
Rather than have to explain what equipment I use every time someone asks, it's much easier just to give them a link to a page like this. The following is an in-process list of most of the equipment I use for graphic design, filmmaking, and photography.

Camera and Lenses

Our main camera is the Canon 6D Mark II and our BTS camera is an old Canon Rebel T3i. Sometimes we use a Canon 5D Mark II. We use the Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC as our primary lens and the 50mm f/1.8 fixed lens for shooting among occasional others. Drone shots taken with our DJI Phantom 3 Standard.

Editing Software

For editing of all kinds, we use the Adobe Suite including Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Audition CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Lightroom CC, and Adobe Story CC, among others.

Audio Equipment

We use the Zoom H5 audio recorder along with a RØDE NTG-2 shotgun mic for audio recording in short films. The RØDE Videmic Pro is the mic we use for run-and-gun shoots.
