A few days after my 19th birthday, my family and I went up to Cheyenne, Wyoming to celebrate! ...it didn't exactly go to plan.

Join my family and I as we visit the #DenverZoo to do some photography together! Since my family doesn't celebrate Christmas but we had the day off, this year we decided to go up to the mountains and do some photography while spending time together. We enjoyed some gorgeous views and beautiful snow! We were also in for some unexpected blessings along the way. On August 16th of this year, I got the chance to attend a One Year Adventure Novel (OYAN) meet up with my sister. While there, we got to meet some new friends and reconnect with some old all while enjoying beautiful Colorado scenery. Afterwords, we went to a bookshop and walked around Old Colorado City. On July 9th of this year, I got to go to the mountains with some of my family to spend time with friends and to meet some new friends. While there, we played a game, took a nice hike, flew the drone, and I got very sunburned. This year I had the incredible opportunity to fly in a hot air balloon on Labor Day Weekend for the second year in a row! Last year my dad and I flew in a commercial balloon (I filmed the experience as one of my first vlogs) but this year a friend of mine hooked me up with a couple tickets for my cousin and I to ride in a smaller private balloon. It was a very different experience as it was only the two of us and our pilot and since the basket was so small you could feel every little movement. After our flight, my family and I headed to Gold Camp Road where we flew the drone and ate a picnic lunch. The next day we headed back to the Labor Day Lift Off to see the balloons inflate. This year I got the chance to experience The Great American Eclipse from my neighborhood. Unfortunately we didn't plan ahead far enough to have been able to see totality in Wyoming, but were we live we were still able to see about 90% coverage. This is an extremely rare event and a fascinating one at that so I figured that it was worth vlogging. The channel trailer I made for JRM Vlogs took a lot of planning and work to put together. It ended up actually being my senior project that I showed at my graduation back at the end of May. During the process of creating it, I vlogged a good deal of the work I did on the various shoots I went on as well as the editing process. I hope you enjoy! This year for the last day of the biblical Feast of Unleavened Bread we went down to visit some friends of ours who live several hours south of us. It was a very nice time although the sunburn I got from it wasn't exactly a party. Hope you enjoy the vlog. :) Back in April we took a quick visit to Garden of the Gods (or what I like to call Garden of the God - singular because there's only one) and I decided to vlog it. The purpose of the visit was to do some location scouting for a future short film I want to release over on Luchnia Productions. We ended up taking a very long walk through the park and as a result I got some pretty nice footage from it. :) Enjoy! |
